Job Vacancy: Procurement Officer

Responsibility Summary
Strategic Sourcing: Developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiating contracts, terms, and deadlines with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and quality.
Supplier Relationship Management: Evaluating, selecting, and maintaining relationships with vendors.
Cost Management: Monitoring spending, reducing procurement costs, and managing budgets.
Risk Mitigation: Identifying potential supply chain disruptions
Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring purchasing staff and collaborating with departments.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Procurement officer, Purchasing officer or relevant role.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Technical: Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Office.
Additional Requirements
Deep knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
Understanding of legal aspects of contracts.
